Hi! Let me introduce myself and wish you a Welcome to the family of Violin Friends music books.

My name is Lauri Hämäläinen. I have been teaching classical music in Finland and Sweden for 30 years. My students and I have tried our best to make learning classical music as fun and effective as possible.

Violin Friends aims to inspire more kids to start playing classical music, bond the students with chamber music, and motivate them to continue their hobby until they reach the professional level.

Violin Friends music books make the teacher's job more effective and easy by combining the best exercises, scales, etudes, and repertoire for beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level students. Violin Friends and Viola Friends method books present various ways to teach violin or viola more fun using games, rhythms, and warm-up exercises to find a natural, tension-free playing technique.

Helping students to work with long-term goals and building healthy self-esteem with successful performances has always been close to my heart. As teachers and music educators, we can always choose the right kind of repertoire for our student's performance: not too demanding but not too easy.
