Are you working with students in a local music school orchestra?
These arrangements have been performed with junior string orchestras and string quartets in various music schools in Finland.
The arrangements gives students simple but interesting parts to play. The melody is often shared between different instruments and also the cellists are given their fare share to perform it.
There are some rhythmical variations in order to give the well-know children's songs a new and fresh approach.
To use the piano part helps young string students with rhythm and intonation. To integrate piano with string quartet gives the music schools also the possibility to include piano students in their orchestral program.
